2/232 Laburnum Cottage

GV II

Formerly farmhouse, later public house, now house: partly late C17,
remainder early C19. Flemish bond red brick. Cement tile roof and 2
brick chimneys. Main part of house has 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay
front. End bays have 16-pane sashes with stone sills, the lower ones
with cambered brick heads. Heavy wooden frame to 5-board door. To
left, lower and standing back is a timber-framed bay which has a
2-light wooden casement with rectangular small-pane glazing.
