Late C17/early C18 house. Stuccoed facade. Steeply pitched, tiled roof with large
coped gable ends. Band at 1st floor height. 2 storeys and dormers. 2 windows,
unbarred sashes. Interesting C19 shop front with carved heads of glazing bars,
which are intact. Additional ground floor window with modern glazing.
Nos 1 to 6 (consec) and the Bird Cage and Quay Stores, with band of paving on east
side of Quay Street, form a group.
