Warehouse to shop. Circa 1910. Cream and green glazed brick with stone
dressings. Roof not visible. Free classical manner. 3 storeys plus basement
and dormers. 8 bays. End bays with segmental open pediments above second floor
- giving symmetrical emphasis. Square headed 3-light mullioned windows to ground
floor. Canted first floor bay windows, mullioned, set within giant arcades with
rusticated pilasters rising through ground and first floor. Moulded band above
first floor. Square headed 3-light second floor windows. Modillion cornice
above second floor. Stone-corniced dormers, square headed, 2 and 3 lights.
Circular windows inset below end pediments. Metal frames to windows, small
panes, glazing bars.
