5 early-mid C19 linked pairs, each house 2 storeys and basement, 1 window in main
block and one in set back entrance link. Stock brick, some rebuilding to upper
parts. Slated roof with pediment-like gable end to road. Replaced sash windows,
mostly with glazing bars, in stucco lined reveals, those on ground floor round
headed in round arched stuccoed recesses. One original sash with interlaced bars.
4-panel doors in quarter-column jambs, one pair fluted, with patterned fanlights.
Some wrought and some cast iron area railings.
Nos 4 to 18 (even) and 5 to 23 (odd) form a group with Nos 1 to 4 (consec)
and 6 to 15 (consec) Croston Street.
