A C17 timber-framed and plastered house, renovated and altered in the C20 but retaining its original character. Two storeys. The gable on the south-west end is jettied on the first storey and weatherboarded in the gable. Casement windows. Thatched roof replaced with clay tile in 2005.

Hollyhock Cottage, Star Inn, Premises adjoining Star Inn on the south-east and Willow Cottage form a group.
