Saw Mill and attached
Engine House in
Kedleston Park

Saw mill, now used for storage. Early and late C19. Red brick,
plain tile roofs. Brick ridge stack and a tall tapering free-
standing stack. Two storeys. T-plan. South elevation of early
C19 range, of seven bays. The ground floor has, from the left, a
Gothick window, doorway with timber lintel and stable doors, two
Gothick windows, a Gothick doorway with plank door, two more
Gothick windows and a doorway with segment head and plank door.
Five Yorkshire sashes above, and a doorway with half glazed door.
Lean-to cart shed to rear. Late C19 engine house to right, forming
'T'. Gabled porch to south east with semi-circular arch. Free-
standing chimney attached to right.
