Rectory, now a house. Cl7 and mid C18. Coursed and squared
rubble with plain tile roof. Ashlar dressings. Rubble plinths.
Coped gables. Rebated eaves. Single gable and single ridge
stacks. 2 storeys plus basement, 3 bays wide by 5 bays deep. L-
plan. Windows are mainly C19 glazing bar sashes with projecting
architraves and flush mullioned casements. Garden front, to
south, has 3 full height sashes and above, 3 smaller sashes.
East side has to left, blocked opening and to its right, 2
sashes. To right again, mid C20 Doric portico with open
pediment. Reeded doorcase with keystoned opening and fanlight.
To its right, a sash. Above to left, blocked window and to its
right, 4 sashes. To right again, set back Cl7 rear wing with a
sash and a blocked mullioned window on each floor. Return angle
has regular fenestration with sashes. North gable has C20
fenestration and gabled bell turret, mid C20. Adjoining lean-to
coalshed, single storey, 2 bays. West side has to left, flush
mullioned casement on each floor. Ground floor has to right off-
centre blocked C18 doorway with chamfered jambs and lintel. To
its right, flush mullioned casement. To right again, door and
Cl7 mullioned casement. Above again, off-centre flush mullioned
casement and to its right, Cl7 mullioned casement. Other
fenestration mid C20.
