House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed, now
with stucco facing. Hipped red tiled roof, 3 rear red brick chimney stacks
visible from road. Hall house plan with crosswings to rear and other ranges. 2
storeys and attics. End pilasters. A central forward raised parapet with 3
windows breaks through the eaves level. Round headed right and left first floor
windows. Ground floor 4 windows with central door between. All windows small
paned vertically sliding sashes with moulded labels over. 10 panel door, half
columns and columns support the flat canopy, patera to frieze. Said to contain
rear staircase wing with C17 staircase. C18 fireplace with surround of C17
Dutch tiles in one upper room.
