Built as a shopping arcade or bazaar. Moorish style. 4 short towers break through
eaves, pyramidal, pantiled roofs with finials. 2 storeys, approximately 142 lights
in single, paired, triple or quadruple windows. Stucco facade with red brick
plinth, interval pilasters between 1st floor windows. Eaves cornice and blocking
course with arcading below. Cusped arches to windows. Enriched band between
floors. Arcaded ground floor with decorated band above elliptical arches. The
northern end (No 48) has 3 gothic arched windows.

Nos 10 to 48 (even) form a group.
