Anglican church. 1903. By F Bedford and S Kitson. Coursed
squared gritstone, ashlar details, slate roof, gable copings.
Gothic Revival style. 5-bay nave and chancel under one roof,
full-length N and S aisles, base of unfinished NW corner
tower. Wide 4-light aisle windows in flattened pointed arches,
gabled buttresses between, segmental arch to recessed E end
doorway. E window of 7 lights with elaborate decorated
tracery, in shallow projecting panel carried up to stepped
gable, statue in niche above; 2 two-light windows with square
hoodmoulds at W end.
