Pair of houses and gates and railings attached to front. Mid
C19. Pink and grey mottled brick in Flemish bond with timber
doorcases and eaves cornice; brick stacks to slate roof.
Painted cast-iron railings and gates on brick wall with
painted stone coping.
EXTERIOR: basement and 3 storeys; 5-window front. Steps lead
to doorcases of plain pilasters, elongated console heads and
moulded cornice hoods: door to 3 of 6 sunk panels, that to 4
of 6 fielded panels in fluted surrounds with angle rosettes,
both with overlights. Ground floor windows to 3 are 4-pane
sashes, to 4 2-pane upper sashes over 1-pane lower sashes: on
upper floors of both houses, 12-pane sashes, those in centre
of 3 blocked. All windows have painted stone sills and
cambered arches.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings on low wall are turned, with
turned standards.
