House, now elderly people's home. Mid C19. Painted brick with
hipped slate roof with a thin red-brick stack on each flank
slope.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. 1st floor has 3 sash
windows, each with 2 vertical glazing bars and a rendered
arched head. Central porch with Tuscan columns and thin rear
pilasters; sides infilled with leaded coloured glazing and
boarding; door of 4 glazed over 2 flush panels and 2 steps.
South-west elevation has on 1st floor 2 sash windows with 2
vertical glazing bars. Ground floor has one plain tripartite
sash, one 16-pane sash and cellar steps with C20 cover.
Extensive C20 rear extensions and painted metal fire escape
close to north-east flank.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
