Pair of cottages, mid C19. Red Flemish-bond brick with hipped
L-plan slate roof. Part of rear is in Gault brick.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with C20 extension on north-west corner
and flat-roofed balcony extension on rear.
The Beeleigh Road frontage has, on 1st floor, two 16-pane
double-hung sash windows with segmental-arched heads and one
blind rendered recess. Ground floor has 2 similar windows and
2 entrances with semicircular-arched brick heads, that to No.1
with 2 moulded panels over 2 flush panels.
The Gate Street elevation has two 16-pane double-hung sash
windows on each floor. Curved corner between streets with
brick corbelling over and 2 stacks on party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
