GV II
Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. Flat top to chamfered edge, quarter balusters,
plain panels, base sunk, north panel collapsed and top broken at time of survey,
November 1983. To Thomas Rothery, 1731 and William Rottery, 1789; the later date
appropriate to the design of the monument. Lies immediately to the north of a
similar, unidentified monument (qv).
