Early-mid C18 house of 3 storeys, 5 windows. Pinkish brick with red brick quoins
and stone-coped parapet. Rebuilt brick arches to replaced sash windows, some with
glazing bars, in near-flush box frames. Projecting late C19 shops on ground floor.
Rear elevation of good quality and better preserved. 5 bays, brownish brick with
red brick dressings including finely-gauged window arches with triple raised brick
keys. Similar key to round window at 1st floor level.

Nos 35 to 39 (consec) together with Nos 35A and 36A form a group with the forecourt
wall to the Unitarian Chapel.
