Mid C18, altered earlier C19. 2-storeyed house with wings enclosing forecourt.
Main block of 5 windows refaced in earlier C19. Stone with end strip pilasters
and modelled blocking to cornice. Hipped slated roof. Greek Doric entrance
portico. Wings of red brick with stone dressings and stone roof. 2 windows
to ends with small Venetian opening in low-pitched gable. Blind inner face
to wings and links to main block apparently altered.
Return of East wing plain and rear extended. Rear of main block stone, mid
C19 with corniced central doorway and round-arched window above.
Interior of main block contains modest C18 and early C19 work and some interesting
mid C18 plaster decoration in a top-lit 1st floor lobby.
