Farmhouse 1641 altered and extended C18 and early C19. Brick with
flush sandstone quoins to crosswing, right. Stone-slate roof covered
in felt. 2 storeys with 3 rooms to front (1 in cross-wing and 2 in
left wing). C20 leanto porch at point of former lobby-entrance in
corner of left wing. 4 C19 casements and 1 enlarged C20 casement, all
of wood, to front. Former back-to-back inglenooks, altered, below
ridge chimney on inner wall of cross-wing. Flush gable chimney on
left wing. Projecting bricks in diaper pattern in gable of cross
wing.
The central room has 2 stopped ovolo beams; the kitchen (front room in
cross-wing) has 1 stopped ovolo beam and 1 roughly chamfered beam.
