SY 39 NE WHITCHURCH CANONICORUM WHITCHURCH VILLAGE

2/194 Cherry Cottage

G.V. II

Single cottage. C18, or earlier. Rubble walls, washed. Thatch roof with
gable ends. 2 brick stacks, one at each gable. Gable end to lane. Symmetrical
facade: 2 storeys. 3 windows, wooden 3-light casements with glazing bars and
wooden cills. Plank front door at centre with C20 wooden boarded porch with
hipped thatch roof over. C20 extension at far gable end, under a pentice roof.
