north of Tower House and Gatepiers

Section of garden wall. Circa 1835-40, probably Thomson, as the boundary walls
of Tower House (q.v.). Coursed squared rubble with ashlar capping. Serpentine
on plan about 50 yards long and ranging from approximately 12-4 feet high. At
the north end is a pair of square, capped ashlar gatepiers. For approximately
10 yards, forming a segment in front of the house, the wall has an ashlar parapet
with a moulded cornice and 2 square, end piers. -
