Screen Wall to east; 200 yards south

Coach-house and stables now a flat and workshops. Circa 1820 as the coach-house
for Claverton Manor (q.v.). Ashlar; slate roof with moulded cornice.
2 storeys: 1:3:1 bays with end pilaster strips; the centre 3 bays project
slightly and are surmounted by a pediment. Glazing bar sash windows, Diocletian
windows to outer bays of ground floor. Plank doors with semi-circular lights
above and to the sides in the centre (right one blocked). 3 square headed coach
entries on north gable end, and 3 sunken square panels above, all surmounted by a
pediment. To the east of the coach-house is a tall ashlar screen wall, semi-
circular on plan with coping and urns at intervals; the inside (facing) now has a
lean-to gallery.
