3 Table-Tombs south of Parish Church (Davy, Reader and Symonds families)

Three Table-Tombs. All C18. (1) 5 metres south of south aisle. Stone,
with fielded-panel corners and hipped top. To the DAVY family, deaths
from 1767 to 1842. (2) 4 metres south of south porch. White stone
with corner shafts. Curved, curtained side-panels. "Sacred to the
memory of William Reader, senr who departed this transitory life
Dec 6 1780 Aged 53." (3) 10 metres south-west of porch. Stone,
with fielded panel corners. C18. Stone inscription illegible. Metal
plaque on end face: "In memory of Mary, wife of Henry Symonds of
Kimmeridge in the Isle of Purbeck who died, Noe 23rd 1838, aged
46 years. In memory of the above Henry Symonds of Cannon Court, who
died May 21st 1854. Aged 64 years. "
