The Pickerel Inn

GV II

Public house. Early C18. Roughcast and colourwashed
timber-frame under a plain tile roof. 2 storeys in 5
first-floor window bays. Mid C19 public house front left of
centre comprising 3 entrances separated by 2 groups of 2-light
glazing, the whole under a cornice hood. One tripartite sash
to left, with 2/2 glazing bars. Another to right, with a
doorway between. 5 sashes light the first floor with 4/4, 6/6
and 8/8 panes. Gabled roof with 2 flat-topped dormers with
casements. INTERIOR. Chamfered spine beam with tongue stops in
ground-floor west bar.
