Gate-piers, gates and overthrow leading to the walled garden of the Dower House.
Mid C18. Ashlar and wrought-iron. Tall square gate piers each having plinth,
rusticated base, and channelled stonework pierced by arch-headed niche with
impost and false triple keystone, cornice, pulvinated frieze, casement-moulded
cornice surmounted by wrought-iron heart-shaped finial. Gate has dog bars and
decorative mid-rail and flanking side panels similarly wrought. Decorative
overthrow.
