Barn and cow house. C18 barn and mid- to late C19 cow house extension.
Weatherboarded timber-framed barn on rubble plinth, brick and rubble cow
house, plain tiled roofs. Five-bay barn aligned north/south, extended by
one bay to north and then by a further seven-bay cow house range.
West elevation: barn has full-height opposed ledged doors to third bay
from right; early C19 lean-to shelter to left of doors and a pitched roof
cow cot to their right. Cow house has three entries to left, two to centre
and two to right. Frame: barn is two panels high from high plinth to wall-
plate and has triangular struts to trusses; cow house: V-struts from ties
to principals in south part and collar trusses in north part.
