GV II*

Walls and pair of gate-piers. Probably early C17. Granite rubble with granite
coping to walls. Walls run in 2 ranges, to north west and south east, with gate-
piers at north east end. Walls about 3 metres high, northern range has doorway in
granite with elliptical arch, hollow-chamfered and stopped, similar narrower doorway
opposite in souther range. Piers about 4 metres high of unusual design, on chamfered
and stopped plinth, wide-chamfered corners to piers, rebated on the inside, cornice
and large caps with gabled ends. Possibly incorporating re-used materials.
