Terrace of four cottages old No. 2 and 3 (now one unit) forming new No. 2. Mainly
early C19 but No. 1 appears of earlier origin. Walls partly of ironstone - part
rebuilt and extended in brick. Slate roofs, brick stacks. Two storeys. Each
cottage has a ledged door. No. 1 has two casement windows with glazing bars on
ground and first floors. Nos 2, 3 and 4 have similar casements, with cast iron
sashes. Included for group value.
