GV II

Granary. Early C19. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with slate, on cast
iron staddles. Square plan with pyramidal roof. Softwood weatherboarding
treated with gas tar. Specially cut slates for hips. Plain weathervane on
central post of roof. 15 staddles, complete series. Primary straight bracing.
Angle ties supporting hip rafters. Complete original timber frame. Original
door. An exceptionally complete and unaltered granary of the period
