SZ 0382 STUDLAND MANOR ROAD (West Side)

Detached house, formerly 2 cottages. C18. Plastered cob walls, ½-hipped
thatched roof, one brick end stack and one near centre. One storey and
attic. 2 porches - one now infilled with C20 window. These of timber, with
shaped front jambs, trellised sides and segmental roofs. Left porch has
part-glazed door. Ground floor has 3 sash windows with glazing bars. Attic
has three ½-dormers, 2 with sashes with glazing bars and one with casements
with horizontal glazing bars. Single-storey lean-to at right end. Internally,
main ground floor room has large open fireplace with cambered timber lintol
