barn

GV II


House, possibly late C18th, re-using C17th dressings. Sandstone rubble
with slate roof. 2 storeys. Door has plain stone surround, with a 3-
light chamfered mullioned window to the left and a similar window of 2
lights on the 1st floor. The left hand gable has a chimney, and a one-
light chamfered 1st floor window under the eaves. The rear wall has a
2-light chamfered mullioned window on the ground floor and a similar one-
light window on the 1st floor. The left-hand end of the barn, under a
continuous roof to the right, has now been converted to form part of the
house, with a chamfered door surround now blocked to form a window, and
a 1st floor window with brick reveals. Further right the barn has
openings with plain reveals.
