House, now 2 houses. C18 with later alterations and additions.
Irregular builds. Coursed dressed lias limestone with some
stucco and brick; gabled old tile roof with brick end stack
and cross-axial stack. 3-unit plan with cross-wing and rear
wings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 7-window range. Hipped roof to right end
cross-wing, with mostly stuccoed gabled projection to left;
lean-to outshut to left end. Top dentilled brick cornice.
Entrance to right of centre has overlight to plank door.
Outshut has 3 windows, one with 3-light small-paned casement,
the other 2 with C20 casements; gabled projection has window
with sill and 2/2 horned sash, window to end has sill and 3/6
sash; first floor has window with sill and C20 glazing to
projection, 2 windows to left with timber lintels over C20
casements, and window to right with sill, and timber lintel
over 3/6 sash.
Stuccoed right return has elliptical-headed entrance with
fanlight with radial glazing bars over 6-flush-panel door.
Left return has brick gable and entrance with plank door and
overlight; 2-light small-paned casement to outshut; rear wing
projects, with small windows to front and return; brick jambs
to blocked entrance and some brick to end addition, which has
exposed truss to end.
Rear has cross-wing extended to right by gabled range with
cross-axial stack and end stack; windows have 4/8 sashes;
front range with mostly C20 top-hung casements.
