TANWORTH-IN-ARDEN

Farmhouse. Probably late C18 with later alterations.
Reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond, with gabled plain-tile
roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 3 first-floor windows. Range
to rear. Central 8-fielded-panel door in moulded architrave
with open pediment on corbel brackets, between 3/3 sashes.
First floor has C20 2-light wooden mullion and transom window
to centre, with similar 3-light window either side, under
segmental arches. Dentil eaves band. 2 roof dormers have
casement windows and hipped roofs. End stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a group with Olive Cottage (qv).
