First World War Memorial, Sandstone. St. Cuthbert's cross with ornamental head and tall, slender tapering shaft bearing the inscription
ERECTED/IN MEMORY/ OF/THE MEN OF/THIS /PARISH/WHO GAVE/THEIR LIVES IN/THE/GREAT WAR/1914 TO 1919
Set on plain rectangular plinth with on FRONT FACE the quotation
"ALL THEY HAD THEY GAVE"
Two-stepped base below.

This plain First World War memorial in the form of a St. Cuthbert's cross, forms a simple memorial to the fallen of the First World War.
