Description

1861. 2 mileposts on Drymen Road. Small single stage, rectangular, slightly bow-fronted cast-iron posts with embossed pointing hands, names and miles.

NS53787278: set into low saddleback coped squared rubble wall of No 200 Drymen Road with 'GLASGOW ROYAL EXCHANGE 6' and 'DRYMEN' (miles now obscured by raised pavement level).

NS 54097146: set into high squared and snecked rubble wall. Marked 'GLASGOW ROYAL EXCHANGE 5' and 'DRYMEN 12'.
