History

Steps and base of medieval churchyard cross, probably late C15.

Exterior

Built of sandstone blocks. Three square steps, the lowest of which has nosing; fine broached socket stone, the broken base stone of the shaft.

Reasons for Listing

Included for its special interest as the remains of a probably late medieval churchyard cross of good character which has group value with the adjoining church.

Scheduled Ancient Monument: MM124(MON) - called Llanvihangel Nigh Usk Churchyard Cross.
