GV II

Stables with loft above adjoining the gate house at Beenleigh qv. Probably
C17 with C18 addition. Slate rubble and other local stone rubble. Thatched
roof with hipped end to north east and abutting mill (qv) to south west.
The north west front facing the house has 3 stable doorways with later timber
lintels and C20 boarded doors. A raking buttress to left of the left hand
doorway and a stone framed ventilation slit between the centre and right hand
doorway. 2 blocked openings to left.
At the back (south east) facing away from the house; one stone framed
ventilation slit to right and another blocked slit at the centre. Some
blocked openings. External stone steps to loft doorway to left. To the legt
the rear wall has been rebuilt. Skylights in rear slope of roof.
C20 roof structure.
A circa C18 or early C19 2 storey building adjoining at right angles to the
south west with a hipped thatched roof, said to have been used as a dairy.
C20 roof and floor structure.
This range adjoins the gatehouse (qv) to the north east and the mill (qv) to
the west.
