Outlying picturesque farmhouse of Talbot Village estate (for which, see Wallisdown
Road), circa 1850, 2 storeys, red brick with some grey headers. Symmetrical facade
to Slade's Lane at east, with central 2-storey gabled porch with 1st floor over-
hanging on brackets and 4-centred doorway. 1 window on each side: mullioned case-
ments, diamond lattice glazing, 3 lights with transom on ground floor, 2 lights
under gables on 1st floor. Porch. All gables steeply pitched, tiled, with over-
hanging eaves and plain bargeboards. North and south gables have big chimneybreasts
of brick, with tile-roofed set-offs, rising up through eaves, south gable tile-
hung on each side of this. Lean-to at rear (west) below windowless 'clerestory'
zone, originally with roof continuous over back door porch (porch roof now gone);
gabled dormer.

Slade's Farmhouse, Barns and Storehouses form a group.
