Late C18. Red brick. Ashlar dressings. 2 storeys. Modillion eaves cornice.
Parapet with ashlar piers and sunk panels. Rusticated quoins. 5 ranges of
sashes with glazing bars in eared architraves with triple keystones. Central
3 bays break forward and are crowned by pediment on fluted consoles: circular
window in tympanum with moulded surround and 4 triple keystones. Venetian
window in centre of 1st floor, with cill resting on moulded consoles, and fluted
Ionic columns and pilasters taking full entablature with dentilled cornice.
6 panelled door with semi-circular fanlight in panelled reveals, framed by
fluted Ionic 3/4 columns taking entablature with paterne and pediment with
modillions and dentils. 1 bay extension to right hand. 1 sash with glazing
bars over elliptically arched carriage entrance with moulded imposts and keystone:
panelled carriage doors. Contemporary joinery and good marble fireplaces
inside.
Contemporary walls to garden. Red brick. End parts rubble, ramped to much
higher end wall opposite Folly Mill.

Nos 74 to 92 (even) form a group. (The garden walls of No 74 form part of a group with
No 76 (Gladstone Cottage) and with Folly Mill, Folly Mill Lane)
