GV II

Farmhouse. Early-mid C17 origin, extended in C18, altered in mid-C20. Rubble
stone walls, tiled roof, hipped at left end, with crested ridge tiles. 3 brick
stacks, one at right end, one near left end, one in centre. 2 storeys. Right
end section - C17, has a C20 porch with lean-to roof and stable door. Ground
and first floors each have 2 C20 metal casements. Left section - C18, has
2 C20 metal casements on ground floor and 3 sashes with glazing bars on first
floor. Internally, the C17 section has one large open fireplace with timber
lintel, and some deep chamfered ceiling beams. Various C19 and C20 rear
additions. Included for group value and surviving internal features.
