The Green Man Inn
SU 0000 SE 2/114

2.
Probably C18 origin, altered and enlarged in C19. Brick walls, tiled roof, brick
stacks. Two storeys, with single storey lean-to at front, with slate roof. Main
facade has double hung sashes with central glazing bar only to ground and first
floors - one window on first floor now blocked by advertisment. Original building
was single pile and was 'doubled up' at the rear in C19. This work similar in
style to the original building, but with slate roof.
Elevation to Victoria Road has large modern ground floor bay window and one metal
casement on first floor.
