Terrace of three cottages. Probably late C18 - No 3 extended in mid C20.
Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, stone stacks. 2 storeys. No 1 has ledged
door. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with qlazing bars. First floor has
2 horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. No 2 has similar door
and one similar window on each floor. No 3 has part-glazed door under stone
hood on stone brackets. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with glazing bars.
First floor has 2 horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. C20
extension to south, gabled, of similar construction; casement windows with
glazing bars. Lean-to extensions at rear, and a small gabled extension to
each house, of stone with stone slate roofs. Single-storey extension to north of
No 1 of similar construction. No 1 has large open fireplace with re-used moulded
stone lintol RCHM monument 20. [Dorset Vol II).
