TL 83 NW GESTINGTHORPE DELVYN'S LANE
2/15 Edey's Farmhouse

GV II

House. C15 or earlier with later additions and alterations. Timber framed.
Four red brick pilasters, first floor hanging tile clad, ground floor plastered.
Red plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to left. Central catslide dormer.
2 storeys. 2 window range first floor, 4 window range ground floor of mainly
Cl9 3 light casements with glazing bars. Off centre red brick porch with gabled
glazed red tile roof. Heavy timber studs exposed below eaves. C20 panelled
door. Reputed to be a hall house with crown post roof with moulded tie beam,
arch braces and chamfered wall struts. RCHM 13.
