GV II

Gate piers and boundary walls. Late C18 and C19. Pair of gate piers forming
service entrance to Belchamp Hall. Of rubble and reused carved masonry with
approximately pyramidal tops. Each is surmounted by an iron heraldic emblem
with a crown and dragon's head with forked (arrow headed) tongue. To the north
is irregular length of red brick walling forming an eastern and northern
boundary to the curtilage of Belchamp Hall. A further length of walling runs
back at right angles, to connect with the corner of the former stable block.
