House. C16 with extensive C18 alterations. Timber framed and plastered, with
red brick south front, and red plain tile hipped roof. 2 storeys and attics.
Originally L shaped plan, connected to double range in C18. 4 window range
C19 vertical sliding sashes. 2 dormers. Original central chimney stack with
diagonal shafts, altered in C18. Said to contain C17 floral wall paintings
and carved chimney piece. Moated site. (RCHM 5).
