3/167 The Green Man


Public House. C17/C18 or earlier origin with C18 front range. Painted brick,
red plain tiled roof, dentilled eaves cornice. Right and left red brick chimney
stack. Single storey, grey slate roofed lean-to extension to left. Plastered
gabled wing at rear. 2 storeys. 3 window range of small paned vertically
sliding sashes in moulded surrounds. Central C20 red tiled open pediment porch
with timber supports. C20 small paned door with full length side lights.
