House, was a Maltings. Late C16 early C17. 2 storeys, L shape with hipped
plain red tiled roof. Red brick built. 6 range assorted small paned
casement windows and 3 square wooden doors to lst floor. 2 square C20 red
brick chimney stacks. 2 'S' tie beams. Situated by the pond and facing
the Church, this building forms an important part of the village green.
