(South-East side)

Tudor House

Probably c1720-30, possibly by the same builder as Halfway House (qv). Two storey
symmetrical house in ashlar, now with machine tile roof. End chimneys, the right hand
one modern. Three windows, the outer ones 3-light with mullions and transoms, the
centre one single light with transom. Central bolection doorpiece with cornice,
modern 4 panel door with odd overlight. Band over ground floor. Basement.
