3/24 Nos. 29 and 31


Formerly one house, now 2 houses. Early C18, partially refronted
on right in C19 to make 2 houses. Rubble stone, refaced on No. 31
to right in coursed dressed stone with large quoins and lintels.
Cotswold stone slate roof with left gable stone stack and rear
brick lateral stack with cornice. Originally 3 storeys. No. 29
to left has original windows, one on each floor, 2-light stone-
mullions with double chamfer with sill band at 1st floor level.
No. 31 to right has 2-storeys and attic with projecting facade with
2 windows, 16-pane sashes, and single gabled dormer. Ground floor
originally had central doorway, now moved to left. On right
return in gable, stone mullion 2-light window with square hoodmould
and oval plaque above "SHA 1777".
