3/34 Barn at Church farm, on west
side of farmyards

GV II


Very large barn. Late C17. Rubble stone with quoins, Cotswold
stone slate roof. L shape with 2 opposed cart entries projecting
on east side with lean-to between. Cart entry to right of 2
storeys with gable containing ledge holes of dovecote and its
opposed west opening of single storey with lean-to roof. Cart
entry to left of single storey with hipped gable, blocked on west
side. Both east entries with double doors. Further entrance on
left reached by raised pathway, and double doored entrance on south
side at street level - barn built into land at south end. Vent
holes all over west and north walls.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of considerable interest.
