II

Semi-detached cottage. Late C17. Incised render front on rubble
stone, stone slate roof, stone ridge stack. Single range, lobby
entry with former rear stair turret, and small extension to rear on
right, 2 storeys. Three windows, 2-light stone mullions. Ground
floor has 2 similar on outer edges, 4-panel door below stack with
blind wall above, and with mid C19 gabled porch hood with
decorative bargeboards and brackets, and small canted bay
immediately right, with 2/4/2-pane sashes and small moulded
cornice. Rear largely altered but retains 2-light stone mullion
with square hoodmould to each side of stair turret on ground floor,
and 2-light stone mullion on rear extension. Stack retains 2 large
back to back fireplaces on ground floor with timber bressumers.
