No 69 and Foxgloves


Detached pair of dwellings. C18. Painted rubble, stone slate roof; small brick
stack, right gable, and brick stack, back left, in flush gable. Two storeys and
attic, 2+3-windowed, 2-light wood casements, mostly with mullion, under stone
voussoirs, two small hipped dormers near gables; modern glazed door and hood to right
of second bay, under blank first floor, and central to remaining 3 bays, 6-panel flush
under modern hood.

A relatively unmodified pair, raised well above road, beyond raised approach to St
Giles' Church (q.v.).
